Nine people die every day due to irresponsible driving by the motorists, which not only takes precious life but also increases the classic car insurance premium.
Seven in ten drivers admit that they drive dangerously on road, which increases the chances of accident. Around 70% of the motorists admit to be indulged in dangerous activities while driving, which can lead to collision. This driver’s percentage will increase with time and as compared to last year, 4% more drivers have joined the bracket of irresponsible drivers.
The most dangerous and more profusely indulged activity while driving is eating and drinking. Around 43% of the drivers admit to dine while behind the wheels which distract the concentration of the drivers from the road.
Around 32% admit of driving while tired, which makes it tough for them to concentrate well on road or take a decision in sudden emergency on road while driving. Around 17% of the drivers admit that they drive the car at high speed for fun but this dangerous activity makes it tough for the driver to control the car. The sudden brakes or speeding might result in any accident either inside or outside the car.
Surprisingly 14% admit of wearing flip-flops or having no shoes while driving make it tough to drive comfortably and control the race as well as clutch pedals. One in ten drivers send message while driving, which zero down the concentration of the driver from the road and reading of amp also makes it impossible for the motorist to concentrate on road.
By indulging in such activities, the risk on the road rises for both the driver, passengers and other road users and raises the classic car insurance.
Unfortunately, the distraction while driving causes most of the accidents but the drivers do not understand the severity of loosing consecration from the road and its impact on their classic car insurance.
