The Simply Classic Car Show is now in its second year and is set to take place in the grounds of the famous Beaulieu National Motor Museum in the village of Beaulieu in Hampshire over the forthcoming August Bank Holiday.
Set in the beautiful New Forest it is the most delightful of locations being extremely close to the sea and would make a wonderful place to enjoy a short break and take in the classic car show. There will not only be some wonderful examples of pre 1986 cars but motorbikes as well.
You will be more than welcome to bring your own vehicle as well as admire some delightful classic models from various eras. You will be provided with the opportunity to vote for your favourite vehicle in the People’s Choice Awards finishing with a excellent prize giving.
You could also combine your visit to this well supported classic car show with a visit around the Beaulieu National Motor Museum where the Bond in Motion exhibition is still on display showing off 50 vehicles that have appeared in numerous James Bond movies over the years.
A selection of the vehicles at the Simply Classic Car Show that you will be able to see include a couple of vintage racing Bentley cars with very powerful engines. One of these is a Napier Bentley from 1968 with a Napier Sea Lion W12 24 litre aircraft engine owned by Chris Williams. The other is a Packard-Bentley with a V12 Packard 42 litre engine again owned by Chris Williams.
In addition to the numerous classic cars and motorbikes there will be entertainment put on including a live jazz band and refreshments to enjoy.
On the Monday of the Bank Holiday the Supercar Showdown will be taking place at Beaulieu where you will be able to observe 85 supercars from around the world.
