If you decided to add air conditioning to the vehicle you could see your premium go up by as much as 13% and if you had a sunroof fitted then the cost of your cover could increase by up to 17%.
If you replace the seating then your premium may rise by as much as 27% or if you decide to change the upholstery then you may have to pay anything up to 16% more for your cover.
Tempting as it may be, if you decide to give your car a specialist paint job then you may see your car insurance premium increase by anything up to 36%. Put alloy wheels on your vehicle and you may see your premium rise by up to 8%.
