Viewing is available from the 14th to 17th July 2020 giving prospective purchasers the opportunity to peruse many of the vehicles.
The venue is owned by the auction house and is set in 100 acres. It is easily accessible only being about 1.5 miles off junction 5 of the M4 motorway. There is ample space available to ensure safe social distancing measures can be implemented to meet government guidelines. It is also possible to take part in the auction by commission bidding, telephone and online.
If you have a sizeable bank balance, you may wish to consider buying a 1964 Aston Martin DB5. It has an estimated sale price of £540,000 to £640,000. It has been in the same family ownership for 36 years and has been subject to an extensive restoration in 2013. This is indeed a wonderful classic sports car that will catch the eye of many a passer-by.
What about a 1959 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe to S-Specification that has an estimated sale price of £86,000 to £98,000. It was restored by Twyford Motors and looks fantastic. This is an open-topped sports car that would be lovely to drive around on a warm summer’s afternoon. It has cream leather seats and has just under 50,000 miles on the clock.
For those of you with a little less disposable income, why not peruse a 1959 MG A Roadster that has an estimated sale price of £13,000 to £16,000. The bodywork is in metallic grey and it is left-hand drive having been imported to the UK from the USA last year. Another great looking open-topped sports car that was able to get from 0 to 60mph in 15 seconds and had a top speed of 97mph.
A 1972 Triumph TR6 has an estimated sale price of £28,000 to £35,000. Over a period of 5 years some £70,000 has been spent in re-building this great looking open-topped two-seater sports car. It has a red leather interior and even the roll bars are finished in the same material.
