If you are interested in buying a classic car then one of the ways of doing so is through an auction where there are usually numerous vehicles to choose from with a range of estimated prices. On the 20th September 2020, you may wish to take a look at the Bonhams MPH September Auction as there are numerous classic cars being offered for sale. Full details can be found on their website but we thought we would mention some of the vehicles.
For instance, if you like the idea of driving around on a lovely summer’s afternoon in an open-topped sports car then you may want to take a look at a 1973 MG B Roadster Conversion that has an estimated sale price of £5,000 to £10,000. It is said to be in average condition with some works being required to things like the paintwork and interior.
If you have a bigger budget then you may like to cast your eyes over a 1935 Alvis Speed 20SC with coachwork by Charlesworth. This is an open-topped vehicle with an estimated sale price of £70,000 to £80,000. This delightful looking classic car is said to be in very good condition.
If you are looking for something totally different then you may wish to glance at a 1931 Leyland Lioness SIX FE that is actually a fire engine that has an estimated sale price of £15,000 to £20,000. Apparently, only 5 were manufactured so it is extremely rare. It is said to be on perfect running order.
A 1948 Riley RMA has an estimated sale price of £8,000 to £12,000. It is said to have gone through a complete rebuild in the mid 1990s. It really does look a wonderful vehicle. Its bodywork is said to be in very good condition.
Those of you who like the MINI may wish to take a look at a 1968 Morris MINI Van that has an estimated sale price of £12,000 to £16,000. It has been in the same ownership since new which is a rare thing these days. It is said to be in good condition.
