There is still a great deal of interest being shown in classic cars despite COVID-19. If you fancy an open-topped sports car then why not look over a red 1960 MG A 1600 Roadster that has an estimated sale price of £12,000 to £14,000. It had been in the same ownership from 1999 to 2016 and will require some recommissioning to get it back on the road. It has a black interior and has a luggage rack.
If you have a bigger budget and are interested in sports cars then why not cast your eyes over a 1962 Austin Healey 3000 MK11 that has an estimated sale price of £35,000 to £40,000. This is a lovely looking open-topped red sports car with wire wheels. Having gone through a period of restoration that was completed around 2007 it is said to have only done 4,500 miles since. This classic vehicle will certainly catch the eye of passer-bys.
Again, if you have an even bigger budget, you might like to spend some time perusing a cream 1956 Jaguar XK140 Drophead Coupe that has an estimated sale price of £70,000 to £80,000. It is a beautiful looking open-topped two seater car that will no doubt be admired by many a passer by. It was restored extensively back in 1989. It has had three UK owners since coming to this country from Monaco in 2002.
How about a 1983 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL open-topped sports car that is said to have a mere 18,000 miles on the clock and has an estimated sale price of £40,000 to £50,000. It has a delightful beige interior. It has only had two previous owners. It had a top speed of 140mph and could get from 0 to 60mph in only 7.4 seconds.
