Michael Schumacher’s Former Ferrari Being Auctioned

If you have an interest in Formula 1 racing you are sure to have heard of Michael Schumacher. He won seven Formula 1 World Championship titles with Ferrari. In fact, he has to be one of the most famous racing drivers ever.

Well, you may be interested to read that a 1996 Ferrari F355 GTS once driven by Michael Schumacher is coming up for auction on Tuesday 4th February. It is being auctioned by RM Sotheby’s that is also renowned around the world as one of the most famous auction houses.

The classic sports car is being offered for sale without reserve and it is worth noting that in 2020 it was Ferrari Classiche Certified. It has its original service book.

There can be no doubt that there is likely to be a great deal of interest in this vehicle when it is auctioned with greater interest possibly being generated due to the fact that it was once on the possession of such an outstanding racing driver. There are even photos of the car with Michael Schumacher in its presence.

The bodywork of the car is in Blu Le Mans and it has a Pelle Crema leather interior making an attractive looking combination. It comes with a manual 6-speed gearbox that Mr Schumacher no doubt got the most out of. It is not known how long he had the classic sports car in his possession.

It is believed that he had the car in Monaco at some point as it was serviced in Monaco. In fact the first service was carried out on the 5th May 1996.

So, if you have an interest in owning a classic Ferrari sports car that comes with the added connection of being in the possession of a seven times Formula 1 World Champion for part of its life, you may like to take a closer look at the vehicle and perhaps make a bod for it.
